Not your daddy’s bike club

The goal of HTT Bike Club is very simple. It’s to empower people to get on bikes, get outside, go on adventures, and redefine who belongs in the cycling world. We are casual riders, elite racers, and everyone in between. Our club and programs are open to anyone but with a specific purpose and focus on individuals and groups who are traditionally underrepresented in cycling spaces. This means women, black, indigenous, and people of colour, trans people, queer people, non-binary people, and anyone else who does not fit nicely into a box. If that sounds cool to you, we want you to join us! Together we can foster camaraderie, dismantle barriers, and create a new era in cycling.

we ride - 2026

We Ride is a 5 month program designed to get you to spring and summer start lines! Even if that start line is just you and your bike on your own gravel road. This program is best suited for beginner to intermediate/advanced cyclists.

In We Ride, you'll learn the ropes of riding, racing, training, nutrition, gear, technology, bike maintenance, and more in a community that is inclusive and supportive. This program is designed to build your cycling fitness and bike IQ to help you feel comfortable and confident on and off the bike!

Our Bike Club is meant to be a gathering place for our greater cycling community. Think of it as the umbrella under which all of our bike programs will run. Bike Club is something we hope to grow over time as interested and interesting people join us from both near and far to share stories, struggles, wins and wipeouts. It will be where we organize our bigger events and community activations.

 FAQs

  • We recommend having access to an indoor trainer or bike that displays watts.

    The Training Plan for WeRide will be delivered in TrainingPeaks which can sync to a number of devices that make indoor training a breeze! Especially if you have a smart trainer. Our virtual group rides will also be done in Zwift which works best with a smart trainer.

    A smart trainer, or direct drive trainer, is one that directly mounts to your bike's drivetrain and can control the wattage for you. You can see a list of common smart trainers here.

    With that said, any bike or stationary bike will do and we will work with you to make it work for you! You always have the option to do your training outside if you are one of those lucky people with great weather this time of year!

  • The programming provided for We Ride members will be based the event duration for which you are preparing but you can expect 5-10 hours of bike time per week. There will be 2-3 structured shorter rides and 1 long ride per week. The program is progressive, periodized, and targeted at peak performance in the end of May.

  • Yes, there will be basic strength work included in this program. If you want a more comprehensive program, check out our Tactic Fitness options which will work well with We Ride.

  • No problem. The idea here isn’t to be perfect - it’s the get in what you can and be consistent with that. We will provide guidance on how to prioritize training if you can’t get in all the rides so that you are still maximizing performance improvements on the bike.

  • We will miss seeing your face but you will be able to watch them on your own! All webinars will be archived for We Ride members.
