our story
At the heart of everything we do is a dedication to service. Our annual holiday challenge began in 2020 as a way for us to connect with and support those in our community who may not otherwise find 1:1 work accessible. As our reach grew, so did this challenge and we saw an opportunity to create even more impact through partnerships and charitable contribution. In 2022, we began fundraising through this annual challenge. In 2023, we doubled that fundraising total. In 2024 we strategically fundraised for Hurricane Helene relief while increasing our impact through this holiday challenge once again. In total over the last 3 years, we have raised an incredible $180,000+ for worthy charities all over North America. Our aim is to continue to help individuals create lasting change for themselves while amplifying the positive impact of charitable organizations serving those in need.

Our fundraising efforts benefit The Looking Out Foundation. LOF was founded in 2008 by Brandi Carlile, Tim Hanseroth, and Phil Hanseroth to amplify the impact of music by empowering those without a voice. By banding together non-profits and female LGBTQ+ owned businesses (that’s us!), LOF is able to translate voices into action. What we appreciate about The Looking Out Foundation is not only our alignment in values but also how nimble and quick they are to get funds to the people who need them. When you donate, your money goes to work right away!

You will get instructions and next steps sent to your email. The habits challenge officially begins on December 1st! You will get access to the web app several days in advance.

3. build new habits!
Use the app and provided habits challenge to move through the next 30 days as you build new habits or reinforce old ones! And remember, you do not have to do all of them and you do not have to be perfect! This challenge is all about meeting yourself where you’re at.
4. win cool prizes!
Well maybe. If you do win, we will need your correct email address and contact information so make sure all of that is correct when you register. We will be announcing the winners on January 5th.

Did you know we all wake up a little on the dehydrated side? Makes sense when you think about it. So getting in some water first thing is a great way to get on top of that AND it’s a little habit that can snowball into other little habits throughout the day. Feel free to throw in some lemon juice and a pinch of salt too and enjoy our classic Morning Margarita!

This one is simple! Get out the door for a walk around your block or just stand and take in some deep breaths. It’s good to get some fresh air and spend some quiet time with yourself before getting into the busy-ness of every day life. And if you have a dog, they will appreciate the walk too!

Think about your meals for the day. Pre-planning and making decisions in advance takes a mental load off later in the day and makes good decisions easier to make. For some people may also mean prepping meals and if that’s the case, consider doing this habit a day in advance. So your daily meal planning would actually be for the following day.

Move your body in some way! It doesn’t have to be hard or long but it does have to be something! If it’s a rest day in your programming, a longer than normal walk counts too! Feel free to do our provided at-home workouts in the app or take this opportunity to sign up for our programming if you want something a bit more structured.

If you have been toying with the idea of an alcohol free lifestyle, maybe this is your sign to give that a try through the holidays. If you think the holidays will be hard without alcohol that’s ok, just commit to less.

The number of people that we have converted to readers through this challenge… Pick a good book and plan to read 10+ minutes before bed (or during the day). This is a great way to wind down and help yourself towards sleep after a busy day.
